How long does it take to make my order?
A standard order is usually ready in 3–5 working days, plus 1–3 working days for delivery. You can also pick up your order yourself at Vabriku 6 / Valgevase 13, Tallinn, Mon–Fri 9:00–17:30.
In a hurry? Choose express order: orders placed on a working day before 12:00 are ready by 17:00 the same day, later orders by 16:00 the next day.
What do I need to make a book or calendar?
Just your photos and a little time. Design your product in our online editor omaraamat-online.ee – nothing to download. Add photos straight from your phone, computer, Google Photos, Facebook or Instagram and write your own texts next to them.
What are the covers, binding and paper like?
Our photo books have a laminated hardcover that you design with your own photos and text. The books are perfect bound and printed on 150 g/m² silk paper. For something extra special, see our Premium photo book.
What is the print quality like?
We print books, calendars and cards on a dedicated digital photo printer whose quality is very close to offset printing. Large prints and canvases are printed on a professional large-format photo printer that gives a highly detailed result with an almost invisible dot pattern.
How many photos can I put on one page?
There's no limit. You can spread one large photo across two pages or put several smaller photos with text on one page – it's up to you.
How do I get printed photos into my book?
Printed photos need to be digitised first: scan them or photograph them with your phone in good, even light. Even old black-and-white photos look beautiful in a book.
Why do printed photos look darker than on screen?
A screen is backlit, which makes images look brighter – paper isn't, so printed photos always look a little darker. The light when the photo was taken also matters: in low light or against the light, photos turn out dark and darker details may not show in print. We recommend brightening very dark photos a little before designing.
How much does a photo book or calendar cost?
The price depends on the product, size and number of pages. You'll find current prices in our online shop, and the editor shows the exact price of your order before you pay.
Can I order a book made in another program?
Yes. Save your finished book or calendar as a PDF (e.g. from the Photos app on a Mac) and send it via WeTransfer to info@omaraamat.ee. Add your order details and contact information – we'll send you an invoice. The book is ready in about 3 working days and you can pick it up or have it posted.
Can I return my order?
Because every product is made from your own photos, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised products. If a product has a manufacturing defect, let us know – we'll make a new one or refund you. Read more in our terms of use.
